Opening a new chapter.

Wedding Countdown

Today I open a new chapter in the dunhom.com saga. You may have noticed some changes in the site. Perhaps not. Well, let me explain:

I no longer am hosting websites for profit. My knowledge in webstuff is obsolete. Now I’m back down to “baby with power tools” status when it comes to website creation. I’m back to being just a user again. I’m ok with that.

The family is reorganized too. We are about to grow to a family of 7 on February 26. That comes with its own plethora of obstacles and rewards. Deidre and I have decided that the latter outweighs the former and work hard every day to make a family our of our bunch. Some days are good, some days are bad. We learn from both.

My ex-wife is remarried and they have a child of their own now. Not much I have to say there. If you are looking for her, she’s not here. She’s moved on.

I have a great job here in Nashua, a family that loves each other (and even likes each other from time to time) attending schools they like. I have a church that I fit in to and a ministry in Worship. I serve as a Cubmaster and volunteer with the Girl Scouts. All in all, it appears my life is here now, and I’ve accepted that. The Seacoast will always hold a place in my heart. Perhaps I will live there again someday. But this is my home now, and I will make the most of it.

So, for whatever reason you have come, I hope you will leave a note and say hi. I am amazed at the people who have come in and out of my life over the years. I hope I make as much of an impression on them as they do on me.

Hey there~ it’s a darn shame we never get a chance to get together outside of NBC (we, as in the whole Deidre/Stephen clan and mine)! That said, I’ve always felt we shared a similar hurt in life…and struggled deeply for a season. I get so much joy seeing your happy face online. I’m so glad for your happiness with Deidre and your children, and I hope all of your dreams come true. It gives me comfort to see this outcome….
    Happy New Year!
